We are seeking a highly proficient online ESL educator to deliver seamless, engaging English conversation classes via our virtual platform.

In this role, you will execute pre-created, small-group lessons for adult learners using Google Meet. A critical component of this position involves providing real-time value to our students through live transcription and meticulous, on-the-spot note-taking to capture speech patterns and document errors.

仕事内容(Key Responsibilities)

  • Conduct small-group ESL classes (typically 5 adult learners) on Google Meet, ensuring seamless technology management and smooth virtual classroom operations.
  • Deliver dynamic, pre-designed lesson plans effectively, adapting the delivery to meet the specific linguistic goals and diverse learning styles of the school.
  • Combine fast transcription skills with Google Docs formatting shortcuts (such as strikethrough and underlining) to capture live student speech and provide immediate, visual corrections.
  • Foster a supportive, low-anxiety digital environment that maximizes student participation and speaking confidence.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with evolving ESL methodologies, digital pedagogy, and collaborative educational technologies.

応募条件(Requirements)

※ Important Note: This is not an entry-level hire. Candidates must meet the specific experience thresholds outlined below to be considered.

  1. Qualified Background: Holds either a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, English (or a related field) OR a 120+ hour recognized ESL teaching certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent).
  2. Target Experience: A minimum of 3 years of dedicated ESL teaching experience specifically tailored to adult learners (18+).
  3. Professional Fluency: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience operating within an English-speaking workspace environment.
  4. Interpersonal Excellence: Strong communication skills with a proven ability to engage and motivate adult learners, paired with a respectful and collaborative approach toward fellow educators.
  5. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated capability in seamlessly managing virtual teaching platforms (such as Google Meet and Google Docs), combined with rapid transcription and meticulous document-editing skills.

As this is a remote position and hardware is not company-provided, candidates must possess a reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi connection alongside a computer equipped with a functional webcam and headset to ensure seamless, high-quality virtual class operations.

勤務時間(Working hours)

  • Core Requirement (Non-Negotiable) : Must be available to work from 10:00 to 13:00 on either Saturday OR Sunday.
  • Flexible Hours (Negotiable) : Additional weekday shifts are available between 18:00 and 22:00 to help fulfill the weekly hourly requirement.
  • Minimum Commitment : A total commitment of at least 6 hours per week is required.
  • Training Schedule (approximately 8 hours in total) : These sessions will be arranged flexibly, aligning the schedules of both the trainer and the trainee to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

勤務地(Location)

  • Remote-First Position : This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own space.
