About the School

We are a high-quality private bilingual kindergarten founded in 2016 and established in Shanghai in 2018. Our campus combines Ministry of Education construction standards for future schools with traditional Chinese aesthetic culture.

The campus covers 2,540 square meters and features nine classrooms plus specialized spaces including a baking class, multi-purpose hall, golf activity field, art room, and music room. We integrate the four common courses of life, sports, learning, and games with our featured courses in natural exploration, multiple arts, mathematics, enlightenments, world culture, body kinesthetic, and life on solar terms.

Curriculum Overview

We teach children to "learn to live, learn to be, learn to know, and learn to do" through a balanced bilingual curriculum.

Position Overview

You will join our teaching team as a Kindergarten English Teacher, working closely with Chinese co-teachers and staff to deliver high-quality bilingual education. This role requires strict implementation of the daily schedule and position regulations while following the law of children's physical and mental development.

• Monday to Friday

• 40 hours per week

• Break details as per kindergarten schedule

• Age-appropriate groupings
• Teaching team per class:
o Lead English Teacher
o Chinese Co-Teacher
o Assistant Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Strictly implement the kindergarten daily schedule and position rules and regulations, following the law of children's physical and mental development to achieve the perfect combination of child care and teaching

• Complete different teaching materials on time according to curriculum projects and prepare for classes in advance including teaching plan, teaching aids, teaching focus and difficulty

• Organize and use various methods and means to carry out teaching activities effectively

• Observe and assess children's progress and behavior to ensure programs meet individual and group needs

• Maintain daily communication with parents and practice respectful communication with children, parents, colleagues, assistants, managers, and interns

• Organize and manage class activities

• Focus on combining child care and teaching to cultivate children's good living, learning, and behavior habits

• Support, comfort, and encourage children experiencing difficulties and help them understand and handle their feelings

• Participate in all kindergarten activities including marketing activities like open days, training, and annual party

• Have an open mind to professional growth and take initiative to undertake tasks that help the school

Requirements
• Native English speaker
• Bachelor's degree
• TESOL or TEFL certificate
• Teaching experience preferred
• Enthusiastic, flexible, loves children, has an open mindset, and willing to support colleagues
• Willing to cooperate and communicate with co-teachers and Chinese staff
• Loves to smile and laugh

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: 15,000-23,000 RMB per month depending on certificate and teaching experience

• Full-time contract position
