POSITION TITLE: English teacher
REPORTS TO: Principal

Requirements
- Native English Speaker (UK, US, Australia, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand)
- Bachelor's degree and valid teaching certificate (TESOL, TEFL, etc.)
- 1+ years teaching early childhood (ages 0–6) in a school or daycare setting
- Passion for working with young children (18 months to 6 years)
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Clean background check and long-term commitment
Key Responsibilities
- Daily:
- Teach English 4 hours/day (8:30 – 10:30 and 14:00 – 16:00, Monday – Friday) and assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom operations.
- Lead or assist during circle time and supervise playtime activities.
- Present Montessori lessons and record daily student progress.
- Weekly:
- Prepare and upload English lesson plans and weekly class summaries to Google Drive.
- Attend weekly teacher meetings.
- Monthly & Semesterly:
- Submit monthly student progress reports on Google Drive.
- Conduct semesterly student assessments and compile work portfolios (twice a year).
- Co-host Parent-Teacher Conferences each semester to present the English curriculum and address parent feedback.
- Annually & Ongoing:
- Support Lead Teachers during annual Parent Orientations.
- Attend school-sponsored events (festivals, concerts, field trips), department meetings, and professional training sessions.
