Position Requirements
- Native English speaker.
- Bachelor's degree minimum (Degree in Education, English Teaching, or Pedagogy is an advantage).
- Valid English teaching certificate (TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA).
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in private, bilingual, or international schools.
- Clear and natural English accent.
- Clear criminal record.
- Passionate about teaching and working with children.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English and other subjects delivered in English, including subject lessons, project-based learning, clubs, marketing classes, and other assigned classes suitable to the teacher's qualifications and experience.
- Follow the assigned teaching schedule, with a maximum teaching load of 22 hours per week (1 teaching hour = 60 minutes).
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials prior to each class.
- Cover classes for absent teachers as assigned by the Line Manager.
- Teach, coach, and supervise students during club activities within working hours. Club assignments will be based on the teacher's educational background, strengths, and abilities.
- Perform other teaching-related duties, including:
- Assigning homework.
- Marking and correcting assignments.
- Writing student assessments and progress reports.
- Creating, administering, and grading examinations.
- Participate in school extracurricular activities, parent meetings, professional development sessions, and other school events according to the academic calendar.
- Carry out any other duties related to teaching as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) or Director of Studies.
