ESL Teacher – 21st Century Skills & Project-Based Learning

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative ESL Teacher to join our teaching team. The successful candidate will be passionate about English language education and committed to creating a student-centred learning environment that develops 21st-century skills, intercultural awareness, global citizenship, and collaborative learning through project-based activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging ESL lessons aligned with international curricula and tailored to the learning needs of young learners and teenagers.
• Integrate 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and communication, into classroom activities.
• Incorporate project-based learning to promote student engagement, independence, and practical application of English.
• Foster intercultural awareness and global citizenship through meaningful classroom activities and projects.
• Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to support learning and development.
• Monitor students' academic progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies, lesson materials, and learning resources.
• Integrate appropriate technology and digital tools into teaching and learning.
• Participate in school activities, projects, and professional development programmes as required.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English Language Teaching, English Language, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching English to young learners or teenagers.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate 21st-century skills, project-based learning, global citizenship, or intercultural learning into lessons.
• Strong understanding of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and global competencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching and learning.
• A creative, enthusiastic, patient, and student-centred approach to teaching.

Compensation & Benefits

• Teaching rate: 500,000 VND/hour
• KPI bonus: 100,000 VND/hour
• Housing support: 4,000,000 VND/month
• Full housing support provided
• Annual bonus: 20,000,000 VND/year
• Two annual vacation periods: Summer holiday and Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday
• Vacation support allowance: 200,000 VND/day during approved vacation periods
