English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for an international school based in Hangzhou. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year in August 2026.

About the role

• Teach IGCSE and A-Level English to middle and high school students
• Design, prepare and deliver high quality lessons to suit the individual needs of all students
• Co-teach with teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide targets so that all learners can see success and improve
• Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas, approaches and professional knowledge
• Contribute to extra-curricular activities program and participate in school activities such as assemblies, festivals, conferences

• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field. Master’s preferred
• Positive, student focused mindset and belief in student growth
• Able to learn and apply Chinese standards and new technologies
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a dual language immersion setting

• Monthly salary range of 22,000 and above commensurate with experience and qualifications
